Assassin's Creed Unveils Bizarre AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a surprising crossover event that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Revealed
According to the formal release, "A strange confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine group.
The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Changes
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Extra Content
Players who finish the adventure will receive an special katana in addition to several items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
